'My favourite time of day is my early morning walk with Luna (my dog). The peacefulness of the early morning, out and about, waking your body and mind up and seeing and feeling the sun rise up through the trees.
Watching Luna running around the fields, chasing scents, rolling around in the grass, running along a stream, occasionally stopping, looking in to the water. This all gives me pleasure and once home, we both have our breakfast and the day begins.'Together time' captures all of these walks, sometimes one of my family will join me, I wanted to capture the warmth and quietness of that time of day.
The location the artwork is set in is a local park to me but it is more about capturing the mindfulness of being with your loved ones and your own thoughts as the day begins'. - Doug Hyde
